Jacklyn Osadebamwen

Jacklyn is an emerging filmmaker and screenwriter with  an affinity for art composition. She is a recent McMaster graduate, with a BA in English and Cultural studies. 

As an aspiring cinematographer Jack completed her first short, Like Magic/Like Me through the Black reel youth workshop, an experimental mixture of digital and analog film through the Full Circle workshop.  

Through Jacklyn’s experience working on sets as a second camera assistant and as a mentee of the Canadian Society of Cinematographer’s Field of View Mentorship, she understands the level of collaboration that goes into productions.

Jacklyn is also a published poet and flash fiction writer who writes about existential dread. Her freelance work varies from educational scripts for puppet shows for kids aged 6-12 to webseries writer’s rooms. Jack is the Managing blog editor of the Cold Strawberries Collective and is working towards becoming a TV writer.
