Sharine Taylor

Creative and Production

Sharine is a writer, producer and director. In her published editorial work, she pens pop culture criticism and writes extensively about Jamaican and Caribbean music and culture. She is also the publisher and editor-in-chief of BASHY Magazine: a quarterly print and digital publication made by and for Jamaica and its diaspora. As she transitions into film through producing and direction, she's interested in exploring and thinking through the intersection of music culture, (un)belonging, memory, diaspora, identity and citizenship.
