Farhiya Dini is a Somali screenwriter and director from Toronto, Canada. While working in casting and pre-production, she developed a love for storytelling, committing to producing diverse and inclusive narratives. Farhiya's work deals primarily with issues of identity, femininity, and survival — she is currently in development on her second short film, Xamar.
