Naiyelli Romero Agüero
Production Coordinator/Associate Producer
Naiyelli Romero Agüero is an emerging Venezuelan-Canadian producer based in Toronto. She completed her BFA in Film Studies from Ryerson University in 2018, where she received a variety of accolades for her work, including the Woman in Film Award. The following year, she received a Media Business Essentials Certificate from WIFT-T and Humber College. She's an alumna of CMPA’s Digital Skills for Youth Mentorship Program, and an active member of the Toronto chapter of WIFT. Her work has screened at festivals internationally, including her short films A Little Different and Queen of the Bums, which were showcased at Canada Shorts, Toronto Youth Shorts and RIFFA. Her most recent endeavours include working as an Associate Producer on Alicia K. Harris’ When Love Came to Kill Us and Lauren Grant’s Things We Feel But Do Not Say. She's currently working with Yasmin Evering-Kerr developing her doc-series Rewriting Our Stories.
